My music has gone through some great changes since the release of my debut CD “Sahra”.
Though I’ve always been a dedicated songwriter, now I have the opportunity to show
my abilities in a new fashion… and this CD has turned out to be a great songwriters
calling card.
Since my last news update, my song “Sister Goodbye” has been placed in a feature film,
“Titillating Steven”, which has been picked up for national/international distribution.
I’ve also been collaborating with Emmy winning composer Jon Close and we’re putting
together a demo of songs. I’ve also started writing music for specific artists and
just had material performed at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I am back in the
studio recording my library of songs (around 200… big job) and putting together a book
of lyrics. I’m laying out the groundwork for my next CD, and starting the “seeking
gorgeous record contract” process.
I have been performing, including recent television appearances on Channel 27 in
Santa Cruz and the Viva Variety Show in San Francisco. I’ve also been interviewing
quite a bit on the radio and receiving airplay nationally and internationally.
